As I looked outside this morning and saw the windshield of my car completely frosted over, I started to think of cozy winter sweaters, socks, hot chocolate and comfort food. So I think today is a great day to share a slow cooker beef stew recipe that you could easily make on a cool fall or winter day. Slow Cooker Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Beef Roast, cubed
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Thyme
- 1 tsp minced Garlic
- 1 Bay Leaves
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 1 lb Potatoes cubed
- 1 lb Baby Carrots
- 2 stalks Celery, chopped
- 2 tbsp Brown Gravy mix
- 2 cup Water
Instructions
- Place meat in slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle flour mixture over the meat and toss to combine until the meat is coated.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 - 6 hours or low for 10 - 12 hours.
- Remove bay leaf
- Serve and enjoy!
