I came across an article today about Canada's job hiring projections for 2015.  The article states that hiring projections are looking good for 2015 with only a small percentage of business expecting cut backs. The best part for the trucking industry is the projection of an increase in hiring for Transportation! We are currently looking for a 1A Driver Instructor in Saskatoon. Position Details: • Must have 5 Years 1A driving experience in the past 10 years. • Clean criminal record and conduct themselves in their personal life with high moral standards. • Must provide proof of minimum grade 10 education. • Drivers abstract required. • Must be hard working, capable of following instructions and working independently. • Wage between 55000.00 to 70000.00 yearly This job requires individuals who want to help others and is capable of working in a team atmosphere. This job requires minimal out of town work. Successful candidate will be assisted with certification training.

Welcome 2015

It's officially back to normal for 2015.  We are busy and back to our usual routine.  Both Regina and Saskatoon are booking a week or two in advance so please call today if you are thinking about getting your class 1A license.  To all our new students...Good Luck! Festive Fun

This past weekend our entire team got together for our Christmas party.  It's been a long while since we've had all team members in one spot, so as we enjoyed a wonderfully prepared homemade turkey dinner we shared laughter, stories and holiday cheer. It's back to business as usual around here this morning but we would really like to thank our host and hostess, Earl and Dannette, for the wonderful evening! And thanks to those who came in from out of town or helped out in any way for the evening. The Maximum Training Christmas Party 2014 was a grand success and we hope you all get to enjoy some time spent with your friends, family and co-workers as well!

Busy busy busy

We are definitely keeping busy here at Maximum Training.  We have been receiving lots of calls to book in for a variety of the courses we offer, to those people wanting to get in next week or sooner please know we will do our best to get you into the program you are wanting as soon as it's possible, but we do book on a first come first serve basis.  Spaces are booking up fast and if students are a little flexible on location and/or date we might be able to accommodate your course a little sooner. That being said, we REALLY APPRECIATE all the calls, inquiries, bookings and referrals!  We must be doing something right to receive so many referrals from former students and businesses that have used our training services in the past. So thank you all for keeping us so busy! Have a great Thursday!

Make the most of Monday

With the statutory holiday on Tuesday, we're making the most of our Monday here at Maximum. We're busy with new students starting courses and other students testing and moving forward to start into their new careers.  So even though it's cold outside, there's a holiday waiting for us tomorrow and so many people just wanted to enjoy an extra long weekend, I am reminded of a quote. “The world belongs to the energetic.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

So bring it on Monday! We're energetic here and we won't miss out on the opportunities presented to us.

Maximum Family

You get the chance every now and then to be forced to look at the great people in your life.  Life gets busy and we often get caught up in the rush rush of daily life. The past week we've all had the chance here at Maximum to look at the greater picture and see how we are a true family.  It's been a tough year for many of the Maximum team members but thru all the hard times our team has come together as a family to support each other.  Today I'm taking the moment to appreciate our team.  Having the chance to be thankful for those in your life is a gift.  Thank you to the whole Maximum family, the support is felt by everyone!

Gobble Gobble

Today is a great day to enjoy some turkey sandwiches and leftover pumpkin pie for lunch.  We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend and hope it hasn't been too hard to get back into the swing of work after the long weekend.   Things are right back to normal here at Maximum Training with new students who started yesterday and a full class starting Monday again. Good luck to all our students and cheers to a great last half of the work week to everyone!

Fall and Winter 1A Driving Course

We have had a very busy summer and now that fall and winter are just around the corner we still have lots of inquiries about our 1A driving courses.  New courses start every Monday in Regina and Saskatoon.  We can usually get new students started within a few weeks, but we do book up fairly quickly.  All you have to do is call the office, pick a date and put down your deposit to save the spot.  For people looking to take the course you DO NOT have to have your 1A learner's before starting the course, though it is recommended as it makes the course a little smoother.  We offer more than just the 1A course so give us a call if you're looking into something else.  Call 306-931-7638 to book your course today!
